E-learning can be designed in a number of different ways.  The intent is to provide meaningful content to students that their learning my progress outside of the traditional classroom.  First, consider your goals for students, then use available resources or develop your own that can be shared with students.  Their assessment with will be the tangible product - the complete or produce.

Questions to answer before designing e-learning lessons:
  • What are the goals of the lesson?  What are the goals for the overall time period you will prepare e-lessons?
  • Can your PLC work together to develop a common set of lessons?
  • How long do you want students to work on each lesson?
  • What additional resources will be provided to students?
  • Will your lessons focus on review, or will you move students into new content through e-learning?
  • How will students communicate with you during e-learning?
