You Can Do It!!!

  • The test is not timed.

  • There will be 48 questions. 

  • There may be an additional 6-11 questions that will not be graded.  They are for information purposes, only.  Students will not know which questions are graded and which are not. 

  • Some questions will be simpler than others.

  • Do NOT click submit unless you have answered each question.  Do not submit your test with any unanswered questions. 

  • The test will be divided into 3 sections with 4 types of questions: 
    -Multiple Choice questions
    -Evidence-based reasoning questions
    -Technology-Enhanced questions
    -Technology-Enhanced Constructed Response


  • There will be 5 stimulus sets that may include a reading passage (and related charts and graphs) and 3 questions.

​A few test-taking tips:

1.  Understand that you will see things on SCPASS that look unfamiliar.  Read it, study it, try to figure it out.  Don't be frightened by things that look unfamiliar.
 
2.  Take your time.  There is no time limit on SCPASS. 

​3.  Read the question, and think of the answer before you read any of the answer choices. There will be 4 answer choices - 1 correct and 3 incorrect.  If you don't know what you are looking for, you can easily be distracted by the 3 incorrect answers.


4.  Do NOT click submit unless you have answered each question.  Do not submit your test with any unanswered questions.
